Metallica Headed To Danish Prison
December 1st, 2011 at 7:04am
METALLICA will perform its top-selling 1991 LP, “Metallica”, a.k.a. “the black album,” in its entirety on June 6, 2012 in Horsens, Denmark at Statsfængsel, a former prison for inmates serving long sentences. Built in 1853, this large building’s notable prisoners included former Minister Of Justice Peter Adler Alberti and mass murderer Peter Lundin. As time passed by, the buildings became unfit to serve as a prison and the place was finally shut down in 2006. Now the prison grounds serve as an entertainment venue, where many fairs, festivals and concerts take place.
Tickets for the METALLICA concert will go on sale on December 8 at 10:00 a.m.
