Review: Ill Niño — Till Death, La Familia
July 11th, 2014 at 8:15pm

After a few shaky records, Latin metal kings Ill Niño’s seventh album is a refreshingly melodic and undeniably brutal one. Each band member comes through, from Cristian Machado, who croons and howls his heart out, to Ahrue Luster, who lays down fiery lead guitar work, to the rhythm section, which delivers the sort of ‘Roots’-rocking tribal clatter that the band is known for. With cuts like the pit-inducing “Payaso,” and the rapturous frenzied “Live Like There’s No Tomorrow,” the band has regained its footing on solid ground.

Check out “Live Like There’s No Tomorrow” from ‘Till Death, La Familia.’
