Lamb Of God guitarist Mark Morton took to his Twitter last night for the following update on his bandmate Randy Blythe‘s release from custody in Prague, Czech Republic on manslaughter charges. Those charges stem from the death of a 19 year old fan at a show the band played in Prague back in 2010.
“finally HOME! 4/5 of us anyway. I cant wait to give Randy a big bear hug & kiss his pointy, stubbly face! Thanx for all the support yall! Flooded w/ questions about Randy. I truly understand & appreciate ur concern. But it would be irresponsible for me to comment on any of it. again….thank yall SOOOO much for your love & support during these difficult times. It means the world to us.”
According to recent reports, Blythe will be able to return home tomorrow, July 02nd, after officially posting bail. In the meantime, you can check out a new Czech TV news report on the situation, which features alleged footage of the incident, at Nova.cz.
