Swedish progressive metallers OPETH were the featured musical guests on the “Nyhetsmorgon” program on Sweden’s TV4.

Here is new live video footage of the French death metal band TREPALIUM performing a new song, “Inner Hell”. The track comes off the group’s third album, “XIII”, which is scheduled for release on February 9 via Season of Mist. The label says in a press release, “a member of the Klonosphere, a group of French metal bands featuring KLONE, HACRIDE, MISTAKEN ELEMENT and many other, TREPALIUM are not afraid to cross the boundaries and bring metal to a new dimension of diversity, technicality and energy – just like their friends from GOJIRA, with whom they are about to tour once again.”

Here is some new live footage of the new lineup of the Swedish thrash metal band CARNAL FORGE (featuring Peter Tuthill on vocals and Dino Medanhodzic on guitar) performing the song “I Smell Like Death” at Rytmikorjaamo in Seinäjoki, Finland.

German power metallers RAGE performed on “TV Total”, a German late-night television comedy talk show, on January 20. They played their new song “Gib Dich Nie Auf” (translation: “Never Give Up”) ahead of the fifth annual Bundesvision Song Contest 2009 in Potsdam, which will feature 16 bands from all 16 German provinces.

Ace Frehley‘s comments on this video:

“I found [footage] of my ‘Just for Fun Tour’ in ’92 shot at a cool venue called the Limelight in New York City. It was an old church converted into a night club. Here’s [see clip below] a version of ‘Torpedo Girl’ off the KISS record ‘Unmasked’. By the way, my band members at the time were Sandy Slavin (drums), James Lomenzo (bass) and Richie Scarlet (rhythm).”
