“Scars Aligned” is the new video from Finnish dark metallers SOULFALLEN. The clip, which features a guest appearance byAnnika Jalkanen, was shot last fall and conceived by CoreCrew.

“Appomattox” is the new video from the Appalachian doom/rock outfit KING GIANT. The song comes off the band’s sophomore LP, “Dismal Hollow”, which will be released worldwide on Tuesday, January 31 via digipak CD, deluxe digital download and 180-gram gatefold LP available in two color schemes: swamp green with bone swirl, and bone with gold haze.

UVTV started in early 2002 and was originally called “UMTV” (Underground Music Television), with the show/website being renamed to UVTV (Underground Video Television) in 2005. The show/website started  off featuring local band’s music videos and live videos filmed by UVTV. In 2003 live videos and music videos of national artists and labels were added into the mix.

We start off our 10 year anniversary celebration series of podcasts with an episode featuring the first video to ever play on UVTV along with some of the first music videos shown on the show.  Some of the bands featured include Thunderosa, Dogs On Mars, The Flashing Astonishers, Bully, and Hemorrhage.

Saint Petersburg, Russia-based metallers GRENOUER‘s new EP, “Computer Crime”, was released in November, 2011 via Copro Records (UK). The band has recentlyposted the first new video “Fix Your Life” based on studio recording shots.

Greek melodic metallers FIREWIND, who are led by current OZZY OSBOURNE guitarist Gus G., performed two brand new songs, “Wall Of Sound” and “Losing My Mind”, during their headlining performance at the Fuzz Club in Athens, Greece. Fan-filmed video footage of the concert has surfaced.

Austrian symphonic extreme metal outfit HOLLENTHON is making professionally filmed video footage of its entire concert at Szene in Vienna available for streaming in five parts. The second clip has been released, with the third part set to follow on January 22.
