Black Sabbath‘s “Loner” music video is available. The group have a November 26th release date scheduled for their new live Blu-ray/DVD/CD outing, “Black Sabbath Live… Gathered In Their Masses“. It features a show the band played in Melbourne, Australia on their recent world touring.

“God Is Dead?” is a brand new single from BLACK SABBATH, and is available for streaming. The track, will be made available digitally on April 19, comes off “13” — the band’s first album in 35 years to feature bassistGeeezer Butler, guitarist Tony Iommi and singer Ozzy Osbourne — due out June 11 on Vertigo/Republic. This marks BLACK SABBATH‘s return to Vertigo, their original label, and the group’s first studio album together since 1978’s “Never Say Die!”

The original lineup of the legendary heavy metal band BLACK SABBATH, Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass) and Bill Ward (drums), has reunited and will issue a brand new album in 2012. The group’s first studio effort in 33 years — the songwriting for which is already half complete — will be produced by Rick Rubin, who has previously worked with METALLICA, SLIPKNOT, SLAYER and SYSTEM OF A DOWN, among many others. The band hopes to begin recording the CD in January for a mid-2012 release. A world tour will follow, including an appearance at the U.K.’s Download festival on June 10, 2012.
BLACK SABBATH‘s reunion was officially confirmed during a special announcement ceremony at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, California, the same venue where the band made its Los Angeles debut on November 11, 1970 (41 years ago), opening for ALICE COOPER. All four original members of the legendary heavy metal group attended the event, which was hosted by former BLACK FLAG frontman Henry Rollins.
“Man In The Middle”, the new video from BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION, the Anglo-American rock supergroup featuring the talents of bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, TRAPEZE, BLACK SABBATH), blues rock guitarist/vocalist Joe Bonamassa, drummer Jason Bonham (LED ZEPPELIN), and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (DREAM THEATER), has been released. The track comes off the band’s second album, simply entitled “2”, which will be released in Europe on June 13 via Mascot Records and in the U.S. on June 14 through the J&R Adventures label.
OZZY OSBOURNE has just finished playing a 10-song set at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California as part of the closing ceremonies at BlizzCon. His backing band for the concert consisted of guitarist Gus G. (FIREWIND), drummer Tommy Clufetos (ROB ZOMBIE, ALICE COOPER, TED NUGENT), bassist Rob “Blasko” Nicholson (ROB ZOMBIE) and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
