Megadeth Releases ‘Super Collider’ Music Video

MEGADETH‘s video for the title track and first single from the band’s new album, “Super Collider”, has  been released. The clip was filmed on May 10 in the Los Angeles area. California-based model, actress, singer and songwriter Hunter Elizabeth was cast in the lead role in the clip, which she says is “about a high-school couple still loving each other after all the years after graduation, and at the 10-year reunion, both characters find themselves successful (a model and a mathematician) and still very in love.”

Megadeth is currently in the studio working on a new release and has now posted another video update.

Megadeth Performs For DIRECTV Show

Megadeth recently taped an episode of the DIRECTV show The Guitar Center Sessions, which will be airing Friday, July 13th on DIRECTV’s Audience Network, channel 239 and in 3D on DIRECTV channel n|3D.

Roadrunner Records has now posted a clip of the band performing “Symphony of Destruction” on the show.

Hail! Performance Footage In Moscow

HAIL! — the supergroup featuring a rotating list of musicians, including current and former members of SEPULTURAJUDAS PRIESTTESTAMENTand MEGADETH — kicked off a nine-date tour of Russia on December 2 in Irkutsk.

HAIL!‘s lineup for the trek includes drummer Paul Bostaph (SLAYER,TESTAMENTEXODUSFORBIDDEN), vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens(YNGWIE MALMSTEENJUDAS PRIESTICED EARTHBEYOND FEAR) , bassist James Lomenzo (MEGADETHBLACK LABEL SOCIETYWHITE LION) and newest member, guitarist Glen Drover (MEGADETHKING DIAMONDTESTAMENT).

Megadeth Releases ‘Public Enemy No. 1’ Music Video

American thrash metal legends Megadeth has posted their new music video online for the song, “Public Enemy No. 1.”  The song comes from their latest studio album, “Th1rt3en,” which was released in Europe on October 31st and on November 1st in North America. The record also marks the return of bass player David Ellefson, who last appeared on the groups 2001 album, “The World Needs A Hero.”

Megadeth Announces Gigantour 2012 Tour Dates

Gigantour, the travelling festival headlined by American thrash metal legends Megadeth, will be hitting the road once again in January. Megadeth will be joined on the trek by British metal icons Motorhead, as well as Danish rock and roller Volbeat and Italian gothic metal outfit Lacuna Coil.

Marty Friedman Releases ‘Bad D.N.A.’ Music Video

“Bad D.N.A.” is the new video from former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman. The clip was directed by Visual Trap, which has helmed all of the videos for DIR EN GREY. The song is the title track of Friedman‘s tenth solo album, which will be released in Japan on August 25 via Avex. The CD was produced by Marty and engineered by Steve Hardy and Shinnosuke Miyazawa (LADY GAGA, GUNS N’ ROSES) this April/May at The Village in Los Angeles, California.

Megadeth Releases ‘The Right To Go Insane’ Music Video

“The Right To Go Insane”, the new video from MEGADETH, has been released. In the clip, which features no performance footage, MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine is filmed sneaking onto a military facility, stealing a tank and playing crash-up derby through the streets. Video footage from the cockpit shows him singing and laughing, while shots from a surveillance helicopter depict a missile gunsight tracking him as he pillages.
