Portland punk metal hellions TOXIC HOLOCAUST will release their most volatile offering to date, “Chemistry Of Consciousness”, in North America on October 29 (one day earlier internationally) via Relapse Records.
Hank Pearl interviewed TOXIC HOLOCAUST mainman Joel Grind before the band’s 25 August 2011 performance at Reggie’s Rock Club in Chicago. Here Grind addresses what it is like to go from performing every instrument on every album to handing the power over to new, more permanent bandmates. He then goes on to address the band’s DIY appeal as well as the inspiration for the change in the tone of their work and the new album cover.

Toxic Holocaust mutated into existence in 1999, when Joel Grind merged his love for classic punk and metal into his ideal band. Like his influences – Bathory, Venom, English Dogs, Possessed, Broken Bones – Toxic Holocaust features blazing riffs, gravel-throated vocals and a deadly fixation on the evil in man and post-apocalyptic imaginings.

The clip features the band performing its track “War Is Hell” and is taken from the DVD included in the special edition version of Toxic Holocaust’s recently released new album “Conjure and Command.”
“Lord Of The Wasteland”, the new video from TOXIC HOLOCAUST, has been released. The clip was shot at various live gigs during the band’s extensive 2009 tour schedule. The song comes off TOXIC HOLOCAUST‘s Relapse debut, “An Overdose Of Death…”, which is available now on CD, LP, and digitally.

“Nuke The Cross” is the new music video from TOXIC HOLOCAUST. The second clip from the band’s Relapse debut, “An Overdose Of Death…”, was directed by Jamie Robilard in Oregon just prior to the group’s current tour with NAPALM DEATH.
