Avenged Sevenfold made their live debut with Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy over the weekend as part of the Heavy MTL festival in Montreal, QC. The show marked the bands first performance since the passing of their drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan late last year. Portnoy, who also tracked the drums for the bands new album, will also be handling the live percussion duties for the next few months. The groups new album “Nightmare” is in stores today.
